Position Description
The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing tactical equipment made of nylon and Cordura®. London Bridge Trading Company manufactures tactical gear for different branches of the government and civilian use. The workmanship of our products is vital to the men and women who use it. The sewing machine operator must be accurate and have the ability and desire to meet LBT sewing and manufacturing standards. The operator’s main objective is to maintain a steady pace while achieving a quality product.
Essential Functions
The ability to use an industrial sewing machine and sew in an accurate manner is required. The desire to work with others in a team setting is essential. Employees must be willing to learn and improve their skill set. Dependability is also very important within our team-oriented workforce.
Other Duties
You must be willing to help teammates when needed and ask questions if you are unsure about your assignment. You are responsible for keeping your station clean and orderly. Employees must check their work for accuracy and demonstrate a positive attitude toward their work and with coworkers.
